Description: Founded in 1929, Coyhaique is the capital city of unexplored and remote Patagonia Aysen. It sits in a beautiful valley of rolling hills between the Simpson and Coyhaique Rivers, with Divisadero Hill to the south. The day starts with a walk to get to know the city, discovering the various neighborhoods and always with an eye for the incomparable surrounding natural beauty. Continuing to the 'Piedra del Indio' (Indian's Rock) lookout point, we will see the rock. It’s also possible appreciate the river and nature around this point of interest. During this tour, visits to points of interest of the city, such as the 'Plaza del Pionero' (Pioneer Square) with its monument to the Sheep Farmer and the Artisans Market, where craft products from the whole region are sold. This is opposite the 'Plaza de Armas' (Main Square) and has an interesting pentagonal shape. Finally, a brief visit to the D'Olbeck Brewery with tasting. This local beer factory was founded by a family of Belgian immigrants. The excellent beer is made with European quality ingredients and the pure, crystalline water of Patagonia. Visit to its facilities and small tasting.

Description: Leave Coyhaique going northwest to Puerto Aysen, about 80km. (50 miles). On this beautiful route bordering the Simpson River, we find the Coyhaique viewpoint, from where we get a panoramic view of the regional capital. Then stops for photos to capture waterfalls like the Velo de la Novia (Bride's Veil) and the Cascada de la Virgen (Virgin's Fall). Reaching Puerto Aysen, brief tour of the city followed by a stop at the waterfront on Aysen River, with a fabulous view of the suspension bridge. Continue to Aiken del Sur Park which forms part of a private Eco-tourism reserve. There the guides present an orientation at the visitors' center which has exhibitions of the regional flora, fauna and anthropology. After this, the walk on a well-marked path along the river starts. It is about 2km. (just over a mile), mainly level but with some changes in level and some steps. There are rest stations along the way, where the guides give information about the place. Almost at the end of the path, an impressive waterfall is reached, known as the Barba del Viejo (Old Man's Beard). Lunch is included. Return to Coyhaique.

Description: The tour starts in Coyhaique or Balmaceda Airport very early in the morning to go 223 km. (140 miles) south on the Carretera Austral to Puerto Tranquilo, On the way, admire beautiful forests of Coigue, Lenga, Ñirre and Ciruelillo trees. Time to cross a wide valley half covered by volcanic ash which is the manifest of Hudson Volcano's eruption in 1991. We cross Cerro Castillo National Reserve and the town of the same name. After about 3½ to 4 hours travel. Arrival to Puerto Tranquilo for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a short hop until the shore of General Carrera Lake for the boat trip to “Marble Chapels” Sanctuary of Nature. Place of unique beauty, where wave action has polished the limestone to form really attractive caves. In the afternoon, return to Coyhaique with a stop in Cerro Castillo town.

Description: Early, around 07:30 am, the drive sets out along Carretera Austral Norte, where beautiful views of mountains and rivers can be admired along the way, including Mirador Marchant and Cascada Virgen (Virgin waterfalls), until reaching Mañihuales at about  09:30 am, for a snack. The ride continues on towards other attractions in the area, such as Las Torres Lake, Piedra del Gato until reaching Queulat National Park. Time for a gentle walk of 600 meters until the shore of Laguna Témpano and enjoy the panoramic view of the place and observe to the distance the Queulat Glacier. Free time to walk around the surroundings and its visitor center. Next stop in town of Puyuhuapi to have lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Coyhaique during the afternoon with estimated arrival time around 9:30 p.m.

Description: Leave Puerto Rio Tranquilo to travel 75km (45 miles) to La Teresa area where a brief orientation about the trip, safety measures and route is received, followed by crossing the Exploradores River by boat until the pier where the equipment is delivered .

Descent of the Exploradores River, cross Costa Channel, Elefantes Channel and Los Tempanos River to San Rafael Lagoon.  Arrival to the lagoon and lunch for alter get closer to the icebergs and approach the San Rafael glacier.

At 16.00 return to Puerto Rio Exploradores and arriving close to 22.00.

Description: Be at the 'Loberías del Sur' Hotel lobby in Puerto Chacabuco at 7.15am for the check-in. Puerto Chacabuco is 82km. (51 miles) east of Coyhaique. Board the catamaran that will have all the comforts necessary to make this journey an unforgettable memory. Journey for about 5 hours by native forests losing themselves in the sea in a moving spectacle, through the channels and fjords of Chilean Patagonia. Lunch is served around mid-day, in time to see the 'Tres Cruces' (Three Crosses) Gulf and the Elefante estuary. Along the way, stops (without getting off)to see a small colony of sea lions. Icebergs of all sizes will be seen, showing that San Rafael Lake and its Glacier are getting closer. Once facing the glacier, get down into the zodiac boats, in assigned groups, and approach the ice massif – only 300 meters (yards) away. The mighty crash as huge blocks of ice, thousands of years old, break off the glacier, and contemplation of this natural marvel will recharge our energies. Two hours in front of this beauty, after returning full of vitality, enjoying the company and complicity of our fellow passengers. On the return journey to Coyhaique, tea and sandwiches are served, then cocktails including open bar.
